JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – Kenilworth’s Tops at Spar in Main Road continues business as usual and still is a convenient and safe place for customers to shop.
The Tops at Spar located behind the Kenilworth Market SuperSpar was invaded by nine armed men around 19:00 on March 7.
The manager of the Tops at Spar was held up, but nothing was taken and no customers were harmed.
The store continues to run smoothly and is still packed with people from the South, rushing to stock up on family specials.
Although the staff was safe, Spar Head Office organised counselling for staff members and the store is now even more secure, with a police presence and private security watching over the daily operations of both the Kenilworth Spar stores.
The store manager wishes to thank all the customers for their support and concern.
