Amazing morning at Amazing Grace Children’s Home

Small Easter eggs were hidden in the gardens and after the children found them, they were all rewarded with chocolate eggs!

GLENVISTA Five Resident’s Association group, along with some of their sponsors and members of the Mondeor Police Station, visited Amazing Grace Children’s Home on Saturday March 21, Human Rights Day, to give all the children an Easter party.

Small Easter eggs were hidden in the gardens and after the children found them, they were all rewarded with chocolate eggs!

“Our sponsors have been amazing in what they have donated and we’d like to thank Maxidoor, Keller Williams South, Bootlegger Glenvista, Meatworld Comaro Crossing, Dynamic Party Planners, Glenvista and surrounding community, Glen Five Residents Association Social Committee (Pascale, Sarah, Janine, Karen, Sharon, Annelien and Taryn).

Thanks also to Mondeor SAPS (Sgt Shirley Gqoba, Cst Elizabeth Mnguni and Sgt Andrews) for coming along to join us,” said Sarah Wissler, Glen 5 Resident’s Association.

The 57 children at the home were treated to lunch, with an Easter cake and cupcakes as well as party packs. “The children had a fantastic time and it was a really fun morning,” added Sarah.
