There is another crisis in South Africa that many people are not aware of, the orphan crisis. Last year’s statistics revealed that out of South Africa’s 18,5 million children 5,2 million are orphans. Child abandonment is on the increase and adoptions have dropped by as much as 50 per cent in recent years.

Door of Hope are doing all they can to be a part of the solution, bringing hope to these children and thereby the country. As such they are looking at creating a home for as many orphans and vulnerable children as possible; children who have been saved but who are not getting adopted.
