Training and development opportunity for youth

TURFFONTEIN – Believers Care Society (BCS) youth development project aims to equip unemployed and unskilled youth with employable skill and provide the basic life skills, information and assistance that enables employment.

Training courses running currently includes: End-user computing, PC engineering on A+ and N+, computer system development. NQF Level 3 and 4 respectively, Comptia A+ Certificate on Cisco ITE and Basic computer literacy. Project management level.4, Contact centre support (Call centre course), Bookkeeping, Office Administration and Financial management course for Entrepreneurs.

This is an official public announcement of its fourth Quarter programme activities on training and development project 2014/2015 financial year. New classes will start on Monday February 2. Available courses for registration include: End-User computing, three months duration, Office skill and administration, three months duration, Contact centre support (Call centre course), three months duration. Basic computer repair course one month duration (computer hardware fixing). Basic computer training refreshers course will be provided to job seekers without prior knowledge and older than 35.

Training takes place at the community development centre in Turffontein. Youth with passion for the above courses are encouraged to apply now. To qualify one must be between 17 and 35 years, residents of south Johannesburg, matric or equivalent, Grade10s are taken on other skills programmes. You must be willing to study and to complete training duration. No fees are required and only unemployed and unskilled youths are accepted. Requirements include a copy of your ID, proof of residence, previous qualification and a short CV. Classes are from Monday to Friday, five hours per day.
