Advocates enjoy free lunch for free services

Appreciative: Pro Bono never runs short on appreciation for advocate’s contribution to helping others

LET'S DO LUNCH: Pro Bono advocates were taken out as a token of appreciation for their contribution to the organisation. JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – Pro Bono.Org hosted a lunch on November 27 for the advocates who so generously contribute their time and services without charge to help the community in dealing with legal matters.

A Pro Bono Attorney in the East Rand, Elsabe Elizabeth Steenhuisen, talking about the motivation for the lunch said, “The lunch was hosted in appreciation of the attorneys’ contribution and those who participated in the East and South Rand Pro Bono project. Pro Bono invited all of them to come and enjoy a few drinks and snacks, while the past year was reviewed.”

The advocates got together at Victoria Boat Club in Germiston, where they could relax their legal minds and enjoy some good food.
