Region F Go Jozi activation
The Go Jozi activation will be happening in Region F at Pick n Pay, South Hills, through mobilising 250 residents of Ward 54
JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – Join the partnership of Show Me Your Number and Phakamani Itireleng with the mayoral spousal office in healthy living through Go Jozi on Saturday December 6.
The activities will happen as follows:
The Go Jozi activation will be happening in Region F at Pick n Pay, South Hills, through mobilising 250 residents of Ward 54 (including the Mayor if he is available) and led by the Mayoress to run, walk and cycle from the Mzala Corner (corner of Columbine Avenue and Potgieter, opposite McDonalds) to join activities of Go Jozi at Linroy Street, where Pick n Pay is situated. This is a 10km route.
At Linroy Street, the group from Ward 54 will join other groups from other wards in Region F to participate in a jamboree of aerobics, 5-a-side soccer, dance, netball, basketball, aerobics, health screening, exhibitions and speeches/dialogues. It is expected that the Mayoress will address the audience about her Spousal Office and encourage healthy living.
