No expenses have been spared to create and fulfil the promise of excellence. Mall of the South, with its flowing design, luxury pause areas and double volume spaces, is a R1.8 billion investment.

JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – With construction of Mall of the South well under way by Aveng Grinaker LTA, Comaro CHRONICLE went to view just how far the mall has been developed.

Waldo Marcus, spokesperson for Zenprop Property Services (Pty) Ltd, along with on-site safety officer, Victor Batlhalehi, accompanied Branch Manager of Caxton South, Christiaan Welthagen, through the construction site.

“The mall is bang on schedule and due to open next year on September 24, with construction going well. Shoppers can look forward to the most technically advanced shopping centre in Africa, with superb finishes,” said Marcus.

The mall will be served by two road entrances. One of the roads at the back of the mall is already under construction.

The mall will have 160 tenants of mixed stores. There will be some excellent restaurants coming in, ranging from family eateries to fine dining restaurants. All the retail banks will also be at the mall, and there is expected to be over three thousand parking bays for the first phase.

No expenses have been spared to create and fulfil the promise of excellence. Mall of the South, with its flowing design, luxury pause areas and double volume spaces, is a R1.8 billion investment.

The mall is perfectly positioned to attract the high income, affluent resident with a taste for premium brand and luxury goods.

“This is by far one of the most exciting and most luxurious malls that Zenprop has developed,” added Marcus.
