BELLAVISTA – On Thursday July 17 at 16:20 Melody Schmidt was travelling in Bellavista Road just below the corner of Napier Street on her way home.
She was stationary in a Silver Hyundai I10 behind a bus. A white bakkie behind her, owned by Mr J Syvester, did not want to wait for the bus to move on, turned outward and drove into the back of her car.
Melody has never been in an accident so she did not know what to do, she was in shock as her vehicle is in mint condition. She was very upset and did not know to ask for his driver’s licence or anything. All she took was his registration number and phone number and name also due to the fact that he could not speak English.
