JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – The holding company of Ellerines, African Bank Investment Ltd, announced that the Group’s subsidiary Ellerine Furnishers (Pty) Ltd has been placed under Business Rescue.
The Business Rescue process will give Ellerines the opportunity to reorganise and restructure, meaning that all of the brands trading under the Ellerines banner including Wetherlys, Geen and Richards, Beares, Furniture City, Dial-a-Bed and Ellerines will continue to operate as normal.
Customers should note that all of the contractual agreements undertaken with Ellerines, including any loans taken to buy their furnisher remain legally binding.
