ROSETTENVILLE EXT – Spilled sewage on Lana Smith’s yard was flowing from Tuesday to Wednesday August 12 and 13 at Rosettenville Extension, Victoria Street.
Lana said almost every six months the same thing happens. “I have lived here for the past 20 years and this happens often. I think the sewer in Julius Street is blocked and it affects my sewerage. Luckily I have an outside toilet. Again I think regular maintenance needs to be done,” she said.
In the afternoon of August 12 Lana contacted Joburg Water (JW) and she was give the reference number 8001914249 and on mid-morning August 13, JW came and fixed the problem.
