RayMarcie Academy gives certificates

The academy equip students with the skills and the knowledge to establish themselves as entrepreneurs

JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – After 19 years of making curtains for the private sector within the sphere of Raz Interiors, Marcelle Simon’s designs came into existence.

Filling certain niches in the curtaining market, most particularly in the training field with the RayMarcie Academy, expanding to include Venue Draping, Flower Arranging, and Cooking Demos.

Marcelle started the academy eight years ago, specialising in curtains until more courses were added three years ago.

On Saturday August 2, graduates received certificates, advertising vouchers and special awards sponsored by AI Yello at Ridge Park Sport Club.

Graduates of RayMarcie’s academy were given flexibles hours of practical training, which saw them graduate as professionals ready to hit the market hard.

“I saw that there was a demand for this kind of skills and knowledge. It is about creativity. The academy trains people to acquire skills, their age and gender does not matter.

“This is the second time we have hosted this graduation ceremony. It makes me happy to see how beautiful the ladies have set up their tables to show people what they can do.

“The graduates will be given exposure by AI Yellow and opportunities to network with the many people and entrepreneurs. I am actually very happy because this also shows you do not need to be an academic to do something like this,” Marcelle said.

The graduates voiced how impressed and grateful they were for Marcelle’s training and friendship. She really made the ladies joyful, making the ceremony an emotional one.

The academy has flexible hours and offers a variety of courses and qualifications. It is never too late to register. Interested parties can contact Marcelle on 083 252 1648 or 011 435 5957 or marcieg@raymarciedesigns.co.za
