Natalspruit Hospital looking for families of deceased patients

The bodies will be buried in 21 days

KATLEHONG – Natalspruit Hospital has appealed to the public to collect the bodies of its relatives who have died while receiving care at the institution.

Some of these patients died as far back a month, but they have not been collected for a dignified burial.

The hospital has also found that some community members, when they notice that their relatives are about to die, dump them at the institution and vanish without a trace.

“When we go to the addresses they had given us when we admitted them, we find that it was a wrong address,” said a representative of the hospital.

To make arrangements to collect your love ones before the pauper’s burial, please call the hospital mortuary on 011 035 2300 and ask for Masesi Mahlangu.
