Creed Dance Crew dancing up a storm

They wave the SA flag with pride overseas.

JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – THE South of Johannesburg gets its share of world class talent and artistic talent from the Creed Dance Crew, with most of the members residing in Glenvista.

This flawless dance crew was founded in 2012 by Clarence Ndlovu and Mike Lamfel in 2014, but has already reached heights the group did not even think about when it started.

They started with just six members, but now have 20 hardworking members who come from different places and backgrounds to form one crew that flies the SA flag overseas.

The Creed Dance Crew performed in Scotland and took third place in the United Dance Organisation competition, and is due to perform in Germany in September.

“I am proud of our crew, we grew very fast in a short period of time. We perform at events because we are not just hip hop dancers. We add art to our dance, It is not just about dancing with us; we make expressions to tell a story.

“When we compete overseas we are always one of the best, be it group or solo performance. We work hard and that it why we have reached a high level since our formation,” said co-leader and co-founder Mike Lamfel.

The crew performed at SA’s Got Talent 2014, which will be broadcast in September, and continues to conquer the art of dancing.

“All we need right now is support and sponsors so that we can keep going far to become a global brand. We need people and organisations to sponsor us with clothing, transport and marketing.

“So far we have missed opportunities to perform in at least four European countries, because we could not raise the money for the tickets,” Mike added.

People who wish to sponsor or book the Crew can contact Mike on 072 2633 763 or Assistant Manager Chaynee Tompson on 076 787 3342.
