Deo Gloria NG.Gemeente church needs help to feed children

Any help in this regard would be appreciated

JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – DEO Gloria NG.Gemeente church at Bellavista calls for all people to help feed children.

Church committee member Felix Botha, along with other members of the church, have been providing hot dogs to children every Wednesday, and believe that children deserve to be well fed, healthy, loved and happy.

However, it has not always been easy for the church as they are still in need of financial support to continue this calling.

“We are a small community church that needs funding. We need help to continue what we are doing here, and we would welcome and appreciate any help from any individual.

“As a church we want to groom these children from an early age. I want to see them accept the Lord instead of drugs into their lives,” said Botha.

The church wishes to see a better South Africa, where children are given opportunities to live in a good environment that is drug-free.

The church is well known in the area and has approximately 300 members. It has a taxi used to transport the elderly members to receive their pension salaries. Once or twice a month, Botha drives them to hospital to collect their medicines and recieve treatment.

The church is still in need of a deep freezers and would be grateful if people could donate sausages, rolls, sauces and everything else that could help make healthy hot dogs for the kids.

The church also needs at least one computer so that the children can use it to do their homework because they do not have computers at home, which affects them academically when they have to apply computer knowledge.

Any persons or organisations wishing to help are welcome to make donations in the church’s account: Deo Gloria NG.Gemeente, Nedbank 1981036520 or contact Felix Botha at 071 4683 023 or Francois Marx at 083 4538 395.
