You and a partner could win a trip to Zanzibar

You and a partner could win an all-expenses paid trip to Zanzibar, in this year’s Caxton Reynolds Race competition, courtesy of the SA Reynolds Travel Centre.

JOHANNEBURG SOUTH – The Caxton Reynolds Race is based on the same principles as the reality TV show, The Amazing Race.

A total of eight teams from around the east and south of Johannesburg will be chosen, and they will have to complete a number of tasks between Fridays and Saturdays, for the ultimate prize.

Tasks may vary from finding clues or completing physical races, to constructing objects that reveal the next task.

On completion the team will have to submit their answers via email to the team sponsor, where the task is taking place.

A point system will be used to monitor the teams’ performances.

The first team to finish a task within the given time walks away with bragging rights and top points that will be added to their overall score.

The three teams with the most points by the end of the seventh week will all go into the finals, that will be held on August 2.

Members of the public can start entering from April 22, till noon on May 27.

Entry forms can be downloaded here, EntryForm2014 or collected from the Southern COURIER offices.

Downloaded forms must be emailed to Reynoldsrace2014@gmail.com and those collected from the front office can be dropped off at the office.

All contestants need to be 18 years or older to participate, and need to have a passport.

Everyone who wants to enter is urged to read the rules and regulations and the terms and conditions before entering, these too can be obtained from our front office or here, Rules and Regulations Caxton Reynolds Race 2014.

If you do not follow the rules and regulations you will be disqualified from the race.

Entrants will have to go through a certain judging criteria before they can qualify.

A number of other amazing prizes will also be up for grabs.

Last year Jenny Seaton-Smith and her best friend, Kate Rheeders, from Benoni, were crowned champions of the Caxton Reynolds Race 2013.

The pair won a six night and seven day stay on Mauritius, courtesy of the SA Reynolds Travel Centre.
