BOOYSENS AREA – From April 7 to 13 a total of 46 arrests were made at Booysens Police Station.
These arrests include: five – common assault, six – assault with intend to do grievous bodily harm, 10 – drunken driving, five – possession of drugs and one – theft of motor vehicle.

Members from SAPS Booysens were doing stop and search operations in the Kenilworth area, when they saw a male who looked suspicious as he was walking down the dark street. The police officers asked to search the suspect. They found a small ziplock transparent plastic bag containing dagga in his right hand. The suspect was arrested and taken to Booysens SAPS.
