VIDEO: Baby bound and gagged at La Rochelle daycare

JOHANNESBURG SOUTH- A leaked video shows a baby tied and gagged at La Rochelle’s Petite Bumper Daycare, so the owner could watch TV.
The video was leaked to Daily Sun by an insider who could not bear to watch how 16-month-old Solange was tied up and gagged.
The insider told Daily Sun that the owner Labeeba asked Solange to stop crying but she did not and that was when she fetched a tape and tied her mouth, wrists, legs.
The video has since gone viral, causing discomfort to many people who leave their children at creches when they go to work.
The Pan Road creche was unregistered and it has since been closed by the Department of Social Development, who were saddened by the incident.
The father of the baby, Valdores, had asked the owner of the creche, Labeeba, to look after his daughter for two weeks and for two weeks she had been sleeping there.
Valdores told Daily Sun that another child from the creche had told them that Labeeba poured ice water on them when they had wet the bed, but they did not have any proof.
The father asked to watch the video, but could not watch it till the end and he wanted justice.
Initially Labeeba lied that Solange was at the creche for only a day, and that she did not know where the parents were.
The Department of Social Development, City of Joburg and the Emergency Medical Services all paid a visit to the creche.
It is not yet clear when the video was recorded. A case of child abuse was opened and Labeeba was arrested by the Moffatview SAPS.

It is not good at all to open a legal creche,I think a father of this child have to need justice in this case.
This upsets me so much! I don’t even know what to respond to this! It is upsetting!!!!What is this world coming to????? You can’t trust ANYONE!!! I hope justice will be served!!! What makes ANYONE think they can just go around and harm anyone! Especially children! This is our future generation!!! I hope this person gets exactly what she DESERVES!!! This is truly hearbreaking, I could not watch to the end. How can any human being be so utterly evil. As far as I’m concerned the person taking the video is just as guilty as the dirtbag that does this to the toddler. She should have come to the babies aid immediately. As for the parent,he should have made sure this daycare was registered and reputable. Who leaves their child overnight with a stranger. I am so disgusted and horrified, it pains me to think what this poor little child had to endure. Hope this evil demon get what’s comming to her. May she rot in hell.

This is very upsetting but am not as suprised as many of you because this day care owner told a lot of children who learn at Falcon Pre-Primary Primary and High School not to listen to their Zulu teachers because of she claimed as the subject as nonsense and most oftenly when she fetched the children from the school she would cause alot of havock and insult the teachers. But now that justice is being saved i hope the case is restes rightfully for both the child and her parents

Hi, I think they should give her a very harsh sentence and make it public to society.
This is a disgrace to the human nature of humankind and should actually give people like her the death penalty or a Life sentence.

The Government the musn’t allow anyone to open a creche with out a licence,cause there are still creches who are giving children panado to make them to sleep.do you know that taking too much panado without doctors supervision can cause kidney failure? and these people they deny when you are asking them though you can smell when they are breathing and I also the urine of the baby was smelling an antibiotic imagine!!how do you explain the teacher telling you that the baby was sleeping the whole day and didnt want to wake up.there are many people who a social working diplomas but without job.why cant the government create jobs for these people by ambushing these creche?

I would like to say thank you to Jamie Lee & I agree with her pitbulls are beautifull dogs and its people who make them have a bad name. I’ve had my beautifull pitbull for 2 years now and I’m totally happy with her!
Let me tell you all why this happens because we have got a poor justice system. We have opened a child abuse case against someone in the past we had Dr’s reports and photos of more than one injury we never appeared in court once but received a call from the investigating officer to say that the case was thrown out of court because of the child being to young to tell us what happened.
The model of the storey is that in our fine country we can abuse children that’s to young to tell us what happened and we will be able to get a way with it.
We always get told to stand up against children and woman abuse but the only time that something happens is if a video or story goes viral and the public opens their mouths other than that NOTHING will ever be done.
Who ever took this video is as much to blame, they could have helped that child. sies
