Reuven receives solar geysers

Solar geysers will save electricity and money for the residents of Reuven Complex.

REUVEN – After the residents of Reuven Complex (represented by Jerry Thys) pleaded with the late Madiba to help them with the installation of solar geysers, it is finally happening.

Jerry said Hope Makgamatha, the Project Co-ordinator for City Power in Reuven under the leadership City Power’s MD Mr Xulu, visited the old age home and told them the solar geyser will be installed.

“I would like to thank City Power for keeping their promise. We are now going to save electricity, and will pay less as the electric geysers are being replaced by the solar ones. These installations will ensure 24 hour a day of hot water at no extra cost for the residents, who are all pensioners and struggling to make ends meet in light of ever increasing high cost of living,” noted Mr Thys.

Reuven Complex residents are now hoping this procedure will spread to other old age homes in the South.
