GLENVISTA – Stefano (43) won the Argus race in his age category and in 2012 he won the SA Championships (in his age category). Last year he took first place in his age group in the Highveld 94.7 Cycle Race.
Stefano has been cycling for about 15 years and is coached by Gary Beneke. He is a member of Glenvista Virgin Active Gym. He lives in Glenvista and is married to Natalie and they have one daughter, Leah.
Gary (51) came third in his 25th Argus in his age category and his son, Calvin (22) came fourth in the main race. Gary also lives in Glenvista, is married to Helen and they have another child, Bianca who lives overseas.
Both Gary and Stefano are members of a cycling team, which is sponsored by Dimension Data, with Gary as captain.
