Skills training and development opportunity for the youth

TURFFONTEIN – Believers Care Society announced the fourth quarter training programmes.

This is a youth development project that aims to equip unemployed and unskilled youth with job skills and provide basic life-skills, information and assistance that enables employment.

Training courses include: End-user computing, Website Design, N+ Technical support on Information Technology NQF.4, Basic computer literacy, Project management level 4, Contact centre support (Call-centre course), Office skills and Administration.

The duration of all courses is three months (Monday to Friday – four hours per day).

The next classes start on Monday February 10 and the training location is the Development Centre in Turffontein. Youth with passion for the above courses are encouraged to register now.

To qualify, you must be between 16 and 35 years old, a resident of the south of Johannesburg, with a matric qualification or the equivalent, Grade 10’s are taken on level 2 and level 3 courses. You must be willing to study and to complete the training for the duration. There are no fees. Only unemployed and unskilled youth will be accepted.
