BOOYSENS – From January 6 to 12 Booysens Police arrested a total of 57 suspects.
These arrests include: nine – intent to do grievous bodily harm, six – contravention of the liquor act, 18 – possession of drugs and seven – thefts.

It has come to the attention of the detectives that there is a large amount of house breaking cases being opened where the owners of a house have vacated the premises leaving the premises unoccupied. If you have done this for whatever reason, it is requested that you employ a security guard to stand guard at your premises until the new owners have moved in or until what other arrangements have been made are fulfilled.
