Meals on Wheels gives the elderly a Christmas party to remember
Thank you to Meals on Wheels Caregivers Vicky Sepp and Bianca Baksai who organised this wonderful day.
SOUTH HILLS – A Christmas party was held on Thursday, December 5 at South Hills Recreation Centre in South Hills, for the senior citizens of Xavier, Moffatview and Swinburne old age homes.
South Caterers treated them with delicious food and drinks and Maggies Spar donated boerewors rolls, cold drinks and a large Christmas cake. Entertainment was provided by Korrie Visagie of Kwagga Productions who brought back memories by playing the golden oldies of yesteryear. It was a day to be remembered.
The senior citizens would like to take this opportunity to thank all who were involved in making this event a memorable day. A big thank you also to Trixi from South Hills Recreation Centre who provided the venue and decorations. Thank you to Carlo’s and his team at South Caterers and Maggies Spar for the delicious food, Kwagga productions for the entertainment and Touch of Care for helping with transport. Last, but not least, thank you to Meals on Wheels Caregivers Vicky Sepp and Bianca Baksai who organised this wonderful day.
