Sir South Africa 2013 gives big to children

JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – Although Sir South Africa 2013, Andries Du Preez stays kilometres away from Johannesburg south, the distance did not deter his kindness and giving heart.
Generous donations of 1500 teddy bears were handed over to the southerner’s pride, Miss Junior Teen SA, Kristen Martin for the coming Christmas Day.
Having read an article on the Johannesburg South Caxton web site, Andries felt compelled to make a worthy contribution to an initiative facilitated by Kristen. She aims to distribute collected toys to various hospitals, including Helen Joseph, Raheema Moosa, and Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg hospital.
“Thank you for the teddies. I got them all today. May God bless Andries for his generosity,” said Kristen, who
wants to reach thousands of children to give them toys as presents over the Christmas period.
