GYMNASTS of Resilience Gymnastics Club (artistic gymnastics: levels 1-3 girls and boys) have been extremely successful this year during the various competitions which have been held over the last 3 months.
A friendly competition was held in June where the gymnasts obtained great results with Kianaah, Callen, Cleo and Katlego receiving 1st overall, Kaylee 2nd Overall, Claudia and Adrian 3rd overall places in their respective sections.
All 14 gymnasts took part in the Central Gauteng Regionals and all gymnasts advanced to the North Zone competitions. The best performance of the competition came from Callen Leeuw who finished 7th overall from a group of 46 Gymnasts in her section.
Majority of the gymnasts who took top 10 who were placed in tough competitions which consisted of big groups in each section.
At the North Zone all the gymnasts walked away with excellent results: all of them receiving either gold or silver medals for their overall averages and will be awarded Half Provincial Colours.
