DH is a rich, powerful, charming and confident mogul who tramples all over Genaro’s territory, much to David’s chagrin. He was raised outside South Africa and has always hero-worshipped his father, who was only sporadically present in his life. He has been with many women, but has never fallen in love. He arrives as a man of mystery who is in Joburg because he has an obsessive quest for revenge.
About Siyabonga Twala
Twala has starred in various award winning productions in his 24 years in the industry. One of his most notable productions was in the 1996 movie for TV, Born Free: A New Adventure. He went on to feature on Emzini Wezinsizwa, Isidingo, Soul City and Gaz’Lam.
Born and raised in Umlazi in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, Twala also has vast experience in theatre. He has appeared in stage shows such as Janice Honeyman’s Turkish Delight, Burning Blue, Aladdin and Blues Brothers. He bagged a Vita award for his role in Blues Brothers.
He played a publisher, Vusi Zwane, on e.tv’s soapie Scandal! , a role that won him the the Golden Horn for Best Actor in a soap at the 2nd annual South African Film and Television Academy awards (SAFTAs) in 2007. He left the role and appeared as Paul Mashaba, in Generations.
