KIBLER PARK – The Community Development Sport and Recreation Directorate will be hosting a Regional Carnival 2013.
It will be held on Saturday November 30 from 07:00 to 17:00 at Klipriviersberg Recreation Centre, corner Peggy Vera and Sunningdale, Street, Kibler Park.
This event is to create awareness among the youth regarding the importance of the democracy and recognizing the supreme sacrifices made by their forebears in the struggle for freedom and liberty.
There will be a parade in the street of Kibler Park, Ward 125; the participants will be from different wards within Region F.
It is expected that 600 people will be participating in the event.
The route for the Carnival
The parade will start at Klipriviersberg Nature Reserve into Peggy Vera proceed straight and the right into Pierpoint and left into Sherwood Avenue then right into Rapson Street proceed straight and turn right into Gordon Rd then right into Pierpoint and then left into Battersea, proceed straight and turn right into Fredrick then right into Valerie and the left into Sunningdale into the Klipriviersberg Recreation centre
