Twelve year old star of South Africa

Take a look at South Africa's rising star

Johannesburg – Danielle Smith, a multi-talented twelve-year-old star who can sing and speak Zulu.

She also understands three different African languages, Tswana, Xhosa and Sotho.

Danielle is surrounded by a positive family who inspire her to reach for her dreams.

She began her venture from the age of two, being able to sing and perform (of which her mother still enthused about her capabilities, still believing in Danielle’s potential) while being influenced by good friends.

As she grew, so did her interest for performing and singing as a career. When Danielle joined an agency (at 6), she booked adverts as extras and main characters throughout and during the time of joining.

“I hope that one day all my dreams – or my dream as a performing artist, would come true… As much as I work hard with my performing, I also work hard towards my school work,” she said.

Danielle is in Primary school currently and in a year’s time, she plans to fast-forward her artistic development by joining an art school.

“My cousin and mother have inspired me to carry on with pursuing this and to never give up, “she says.

We hope to see Danielle rise and carry on pursuing her dreams and that God blesses her through her journey each and every day.
