SUIDEROORD: Abbotts College held its Art Exhibition on October 16 for the first time in the new west wing of the school.
Art students of the college showed some exceptional work and it was judged by Estelle Pretorius, a previous art teacher who worked at Abbotts
College South.
“The students have worked extremely hard to finish all their art work for this exhibition and it’s great to see how well they’ve done,” said the present art and design faculty teacher, Marsha Steyn.
Principal, Leon Erasmus, praised Miss Steyn for her dedication to her students and the college. “Marsha came here and although we expected good things from her she has produced great things,” he said. He also thanked Estelle Pretorius for her interest and coming to judge the exhibition.
The evening was attended by invited guests, staff members, parents and of course, the art students.
