This Magical Plant will amaze you

Venus Flytrap is surprisingly known and loved by many who adore the aspect of plant growing and nurturing.

ALBERTON – Recent studies have shown that the Venus Flytrap extract according to proponents claim: “Carnivora and Venus flytrap extract have immune stimulant and anticancer properties.” – directed from www.cancer.org
“Some even claim that the extract can be applied directly to some skin cancer lesions to substitute for radiation therapy and chemotherapy,” – cancer.org

Nurturing them and not tampering with their ‘bodies’ does the world of wonders in their own supply of living. It has ‘claws’
that should not be tampered with either, for when it catches prey; it locks it in and devours the additional protein, i.e. small insects, spiders or flies. The plant only needs this once or twice a month, according to other plant
lovers.

Further supporters even claim that it can help with treating, colitis, Crohn’s disease, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis,
neurodermatitis, chronic fatigue syndrome, HIV, and certain types of herpes.(directed from www.cancer.org)
In a recent interview with Dr Mande Scheepmaker, a homeopath from Alberton, the significance of the use of plants for medicinal purposes was discussed in general. Many plants contain active ingredients which can been used to treat medical conditions. In the preparation of plant extracts, either parts of the plant or the whole plant is used.

The plant is chopped and macerated, separated into its constituents by soaking, usually using an alcoholic base. She continued, “It is not usually safe to just use plants because with homeopathy, it differs.” Dr Mande Scheepmaker had spoken on the topic of using medicinal plants for cancer treatment and suggested:

“First of all, one needs to understand where the research is coming from. Not all cancers are the same and not all cancers progress the same in different people. The research studies are often conducted on animals, in vitroor isolated tumour cells.

“Medicinal plants may have a place within a treatment regime for cancer, rather than it being the treatment for cancer –
cancer treatment regimen should incorporate both medicinal and lifestyle changes that decrease the body’s level of inflammation and increase antioxidant levels.”

“What may be a cancer cure for me may not be a cancer cure for you,” she
says. “Patient education is important for the successful treatment of any
condition.”
