TOP students from the Cobras Shotokan Karate club in Brackenhurst once again proved their worth and brought home the medals when they recently took part at the annual Pieter Viljoen All Styles Traditional karate challenge held in Pretoria.
The sensei’s of the club were very proud of the six gold and two bronze medals which they achieved. Cobras Shotokan students who received medals are:
Bokamoso Makhene (two gold), Michiel Jacobs (one gold, one bronze), Dario Gouveia (two gold) and Liana Gouveia (one gold, one bronze).The Cobras Shotokan karate club train at Glenview Primary School on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 17:30 to 18:30.
