*THE Arthritis Foundation will be hosting a lecture for Rheumatoid Arthritis Awareness Day on Thursday, 17 March, at 11:00 at Wits Medical School, 7 York Road, Parktown, Lecture Theatre 3.The presenters are Jogie Matlakala, a rheumatoid arthritis patient, topic “My Story”, and Nonhlanhla Skosana (Sister Frances), rheumatology sister at Charlotte Maxeke Hospital, topic “A Nursing Sister’s Perspective”. *AUTUMN Flower Show (Johannesburg South Garden Club) at the Entrance Precinct, Klipriviersberg Nature Reserve, Peggy Vera Road, Kibler Park. Open Saturday, April 2, 11:00 to 16:00 and Sunday, April 3, 09:00 to 16:00. Refreshments and light meals will be on sale.

*COUNTRY Crafters will be at 101 Klipriver Drive, Mulbarton, on Saturday April 30, from 09:00 to 14:30. A number of new crafters will be joining the happy band of creative people, so come and see what is on offer. The crafters have all been very busy during the holiday period, making new and different items.
