The Bag Lady

Well here we are at the beginning of a new year.

Was Christmas wonderful? Was it worth all the effort?  Did you give and receive some gorgeous gifts? Did you spend quality time with family and friends? I hope the answer is yes to all of these questions.

I haven’t made any new year’s resolutions.  I always used to and then half way through the year I was disappointed in myself because I’d not kept to any of them!  I am hoping this year though to eat healthier, exercise more frequently, be kinder to people and generally be a better person. Let’s see how I go on!

As we look forward to what 2016 will bring, my wish is for a country better run and definitely a more prosperous economy. Last year was very hard for many people, both emotionally and financially and for some a year they were glad to see the back of. Here’s to a “good one” for us all.

New restaurant in Mulbarton

Sue Green, local guitarist and owner of the JOY dogs recently went to The Vine Garden Café, 89 True North Road, Mulbarton.  This is what she had to say about it. “It’s a vegetarian/vegan restaurant, really wonderful and owned by Marco and Eleanor Zanieri. It’s also dog friendly.  The food was great, service excellent and the ambiance lovely.” If you would like to contact the café phone 011 029 7678.

And that leaves nothing else but …… shop till you drop (yes, I know you’re weary of shopping but come on ladies, don’t let me down)!
