Thornbirds hosts children from St Mary’s
“Special thanks to Thornbirds and all the staff who made it such a wonderful afternoon for the children. They had a ball,” said Sonja Harmse, the director of St Mary’s.
THE children from St Mary’s Children’s Home enjoyed a Christmas lunch at Thornbirds on Wednesday, December 9, which in their opinion, was a great way to begin their school holidays.
A festive atmosphere with Christmas trees and décor, Christmas crackers and chocolate novelties, as well as delicious food, made for a fun occasion. All the children also received a treat packet as they were leaving.
