I needed a bakkie that I would use to remove a building rubble from my house. I was referred to a very humble gentleman who owned one and was willing to assist me. When his assistant was busy loading the rubble I asked him how he got into that business. He said he was working for a projects company and that he and his colleagues would be transported to a project site every morning and back in the afternoons. This happened for about seven years.
In summer it would be so hot at the back of the bakkie and that some days they would be rained on. One cold day, on their way back from the project site, they were rained on. When he got off from the bakkie with his colleagues, he said to himself: “I will never be rained on and be so cold like this ever again.” Today he has four bakkies and he is doing well, yet he didn’t know how he was going to do it. You will never know if you are able to pick something up until you attempt to pick it up.
Until the day you say: “I’ve had it, I am sick of this, no more, I am done, this is the last time, never again,” and you really mean it from the bottom of your heart, your life will change for the better or else you will keep on complaining and moaning about that same thing or situation over and over again. Never become comfortable with your own discomforts. I hope you realise that we are living on borrowed times, inaction is the wall that keeps your dreams at bay, act now!
