Raise the quality of your questions

Write down one thing that can make a positive difference in your life.

IF you want to achieve your goals, you need to improve the quality of the goal setting questions that you ask.

Stating the obvious is saying I don’t have the key to open the door. The question should rather be how can I open the door without the key? The quality of the answer now improves because I asked a better question.

Write down one thing that can make a positive difference in your life. Your intention with this exercise is to create a new behaviour not a once-off feat. This one thing must be able to stretch you for you to grow. It is who you become through the process that matters most rather than the results achieved.

Goal setting questions:

1. Why is it important to me? Generate at least five reasons.

2. How can I achieve it? Don’t try to qualify your answers, just write down at least ten different ways.

3. Who can help me achieve it?

4. When do I want to complete it? Pick a date, month and a year.

5. Which of the step two options will be most appropriate to ensure positive results?

Congratulations! You have just completed goal-setting.

Anyone can do this, see why I say you are born to win?
