Near 100 injured in Booysens train crash
It is believed close to 100 people were injured when a train crashed in Booysens on Friday evening, July 17.
Scores of passengers were injured this evening (Friday July 17) after two trains collided at the Booysens train station.
Reports from ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring said two trains collided and one train derailed.
“Patients were found all over the place with injuries ranging from minor to serious,” said Meiring.
The cause of accident is not yet know, however, local authorities were on the scene for further investigation.
