JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – Between Monday, May 4 and Monday, May 18, Moffatview police arrested an impressive total of 80 suspects for various crimes.
Suspects were arrested for: assault – nine, assault with grievous bodily harm – five, assault under domestic violence – two, child abuse – two, fraud – two, dealing in counterfeit cigarettes – four, driving under the influence of alcohol – one, driving without a license – one, house robbery – one, housebreaking and theft – two; illegal immigrant – one; kidnapping – two, malicious damage to property – three; possession of drugs – 12, possession of stolen motor vehicle – one; possession of suspected stolen cables – four, possession of stolen property – one; pointing of firearm – one, use of motor vehicle without the owner’s consent – one; rape – one; shoplifting – ten, theft -13, warrant of arrest – one.
