Response to ‘Bellavista Estate Shocking’

My question to the two MMC’s, Cllr Dan Bovu (Housing) and Cllr Matshidiso Mfikoe (Environment Infrastructure Service Department) is:

Is Bev Turk replacing you or is she replacing the Municipal Owned Entities? Or is she just simply undermining all of you?

Pikitup, City Parks, Housing and all the other stakeholders, please do your work timeously. Bev Turk is watching you.

It is amazing how Bev Turk has the time and energy to go around the DA wards doing oversight on service delivery issues.

Bev, elections are here, and I am here with my 10 elected committee members to manage these issues. I cannot and will not allow you to derail us. You had your chance with the DA. Don’t blow your last chance with the ANC.

The ANC is the ultimate ruling party. They are responsible for service delivery. They are the ones with the budget.

Give me my budget and I will run my ward like clockwork.
