MONDEOR – The Community Policing Forum -Mondeor SAPS Area have under them different sectors, Sectors 1, 2, 3 CPF.

The efforts of Sector 1 CPF and those of their partners have yielded much success. CPF patrollers have been involved in the successful arrest and conviction of many criminals.

“We have residents that are well informed about crime trends in the area and well developed community safety projects and close collaboration with SAPS, security companies and others. As a result the prevalent crimes in our area have shown downturns. According to our own statistics housebreakings, which has traditionally plagued the sector, has been almost halved in 2014, and other crimes such as smash and grab incidents have virtually been eliminated. We will continue to work tirelessly to address all crimes and causes of crime in the sector with our partners,” said a statement.

Community meetings with SAPS are held every second Wednesday of every month at 19:00 at St Paul’s Church on Tehore Street in Mulbarton.

Sector 2 CPF have assisted SAPS in putting a number of criminals behind bars. A percentage of their successes are posted on their Facebook page.

Community meetings are on the last Wednesday of the month at 19:00, at the Sasol Garage on Swartgoud and Columbine in Suideroord/Mondeor. They have a good working relationship with SAPS, JMPD, EMS, councillors and other stakeholders.
