Walk against crime

There will be a wreath-laying at the spot where the late Colonel Makhubela was found.

THE Moffatview Police Precinct Community Policing Forum (CPF) extents an invitation to all role players to attend the CPF’s Walk Against Crime. The route is about 10km long.

This walk will be held on Saturday April 18 from 08:00. The starting point is at Molly Blackburn Tennis Court, on the corner of Verona and Lawn streets, Townsview/Rosettenville.

From there the procession will walk through the following streets: right Verona, right Main, right Geranium, left Johannesburg Road, right 7th Street, right Samuel, left Augusta, left Marjorie, right North Road, straight to Nephin, left to Swinburne, left to Outspan and straight to the end point, Moffatview Police Station.

There will be a wreath-laying at the spot where the late Colonel Makhubela was found.

All members of the public and invited guests and representatives of school forums/school governing bodies, taxi associations, business forums, religious bodies, civic organisations, rate payers associations, residents associations, security companies, care centres, community centres, youth centres etc, who have had enough of crime destroying the fabric of society, are invited to participate in this walk.
