I have attended a great inspirational inauguration of the NuMiracle Math Lab Centre at the Southgate Mall on April 1.

This magnificent event is the initiative of the Pareto Limited property group that owns virtually all the major shopping centres.

It was a very auspicious launching event, with a few dignitaries who attended.

The MC Mr Ralph Chivaviro opened the event. The General Manager of Southgate Mall, Mr Wiley Quin, introduced the special guests and thanked the CEO of Pareto Limited Mr Marius Muller for availing space at the mall for the maths facility, and expressed how honoured the management of Southgate Mall was that they chose this mall for the launching of their second maths centre in Johannesburg.

Mr Muller emphasised the company’s commitment to the upliftment of our youth to assist them with their education, especially in maths. He also expressed his deep commitment in uplifting women by making available educational tools to improve their skills.

He mentioned that Pareto became very concerned about the statistical standard of the subject in South Africa, hence its commitment to do something about it.

The plague at the mall was unveiled by Mr Muller, the deputy regional director of the HOD, on behalf of the Regional Director of HOD Gauteng, Mrs Criselda Makhubela, and Mr Quin.

I attended this fantastic launch and praised the involvement and initiative of Pareto Limited. I wish that more corporate companies can provide such initiatives in assisting in the education and upliftment of our society. Granting people the basic skills to seize the opportunities they may face in improving their lifestyles, preparing them to improved working skills and enhance their life’s overall.
