Tris and Four will find the truth

Based on the popular trilogy of Divergent books by American novelist Veronica Roth, Insurgent is the sequel to the successful 2014 film, Divergent.

In Insurgent, Beatrice ‘Tris’ Prior (Shailene Woodley) must confront her inner demons and continue her fight with the help from others on her side against a powerful alliance in a dystopian post-apocalyptic version of Chicago, which threatens to tear her society apart. Following the events of the previous film, a war now looms as conflict between the factions and their ideologies grows.

As she searches for allies and answers in the wake of the uprising, Tris and Four (Theo James) are on the run. Being hunted by Jeanine Matthews (Kate Winslet), the leader of the Erudite faction, Tris and Four race against time as they try to figure out what the Abnegation faction sacrificed to protect their lives, and why the Erudite leaders will do anything to stop them.

Haunted by her past choices, but desperate to protect the ones she loves, Tris faces one impossible challenge after another as she unlocks the truth about the past and ultimately, the future of her world.
