Bad service received from TUPA

They are so good with advertising but their service is bad.

I’m writing this letter because I feel that crooks need to be exposed so that other innocent victims do not fall into the same trap.

My husband and I decided to move into a flat, the letting agency’s name is TUPA. They mostly deal with the Southern suburbs. We stayed in one of their flats for a few months, and decided it was time to move out. We had paid a deposit of about R12 000, only to find out we getting R1 400 back.

One would say we vandalised the place. The letting manager who helped us from day one was so kind and in such a hurry to receive the deposit, but when it was time for us to get our money back it took forever. We waited a few days for the lousy R1 400.

To make matters worse, my husband changed bank accounts a long time ago, and told the letting manager about the changes, he even filled in his new bank details and gave it to the letting manager, only to find that the R1 400 was put into his old bank account. The old bank account was suspended, because it was not closed and the bank took their R700.

We left now with R700. I just want to tell other people, do not fall into the same trap like we did. Do not be so desperate to move into one of TUPA’s flats. They are the worst letting agency under the sun! They are incompetent and can’t do their work properly.

When a client tells you he/she changed bank accounts, don’t you change the info on the client’s profile on your system?

They are so good with advertising in the Southern COURIER, but their service bad. If anything breaks in your flat, they will also just replace it with something old. Beware, don’t get caught!
