Alcohol and Drug Concerns (ADC) as a Non-Profit Organisation (NPOs) has been combating substance abuse problems for over 100 years.

WEST TURFFONTEIN – THE community is no doubt aware of the increasing drug related problems affecting learners in the community.

Leaners from grade 1 to 12 are potential victims in one way or another, be it due to a family problem, being influenced by the users among their peers or being approached by drug lords who want to sell drugs to them at the school gate!

How do the society prevent the onslaught of this scourge from ruining the lives of innocent children?

Alcohol and Drug Concerns (ADC) as a Non-Profit Organisation (NPOs) has been combating substance abuse problems for over 100 years.

ADC provides the following services to benefit the community:

* As an information and resource centre we assist with educational media and referrals to other drug and alcohol support and admitting facilities.

*. Preventative education in the form of live presentations to a) schools b) community centres c) corporations d) inspirational centres e) old age homes f) youth centres g) primary health care clinics.

* For anti-drug abuse protest marches we assist with the supply of posters, pamphlets, flyers.

4. Life coach counseling courses at ADC premises.

5. Parenting workshops at ADC premises.
