Al-Imdaad Foundation wheelchair projects

They are operational in 65 countries around the world. In South Africa they have five regional offices, one in Joburg South, Ormonde.

JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – The Al-Imdaad Foundation brings relief to the less fortunate in the community. Anne Suzanne van der Linde of Pageview (Fietas), was in tears at the kindness of the Al-Imdaad Foundation.

She had to have her leg amputated after being diagnosed with diabetes. “This being very emotionally traumatising, not being mobile compounded the problem. The hospital which did the amputation could not provide a much needed wheelchair. The Al-Imdaad Foundation would like to thank the Joburg Muslim Charity Organization (JMCO) for bringing the plight of Anne to our attention, and would also like to thank our most esteemed donors for making this donation possible. I further encouraged the community if they know of any such cases, where people are in need of a wheelchair, to contact our offices on 011 496 2754. This is just another one of our many poverty alleviation and upliftment projects,” explained ML Mohamed Chodree.
