JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – According to Moffatview SAPS, during the month of December 2014 the following crimes showed a decrease compared to December 2013: burglary business; burglary residential; car-jacking and rape.
But the following crimes showed an increase in the December of 2014 compared to the December of the 2013: Robbery with firearm; Business robbery.
However, some of the common crimes stayed the same: house robbery; murder; attempted murder; and truck jacking.
Nonetheless, Moffatview SAPS Management would like to thank SAPS members; JMPD; reservists; patrollers and members from other units who dedicated themselves to work during the festive season.
The management would also like to thank community members who assisted the Police in the fight against crime and also help bring the offenders to justice.
