Massive raid in South Crest

Suspects caught red-handed

JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – The South African Flying Squad and DANGA security raided two suspects in South Crest after executing a smooth master, placing undercover men in Boshof Street, South Crest.

DANGA security received information from an engineering company that was victimised by two suspects ordering goods under its name and then selling them to private customers.

DANGA called the help of the Flying Squad to help combat this crime as such crimes often go unnoticed and cost honest companies lots of money.

These crimes often have an inside man who has access to specific information about a company.

Criminals make orders of stock, knowing an inside man will confirm all the details as if they are good payers, but when the time to pay comes, there is nobody making payment.

But in this case, because the company had learnt to rely on DANGA security from experience, they contacted the security force and explained that they were being hit.

DANGA structured a brilliant plan, putting undercover men in the house where the suspects were supposed to collect stolen goods belonging to the company.

After the two suspects had signed off the goods, they were caught right handed just before they could drive away.

“The company had lost equipment worth approximately R69 000. The two suspects have been arrested and we are very happy the community is working with us.

“We want to clean up the community from these kinds of crimes, because DANGA is there to sweep down on crime,” said Gavin De Agrela, a member of DANGA security.

The security agency has previously executed these kinds of brilliant raids, which resulted in arrests without violence.
