Join fun walks against abuse
There will be two seperate walks to accommodate beginners and experienced walkers.
JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – Fun Locator is organising fun walks against the abuse of women and children and the abuse of drugs and alcohol for Saturday August 9.
The event will start at Mondeor, PH Network Cafe and proceed to Naturena through the Golden Highway and return to Mondeor.
The first walk will be a five kilometers walk that will pass through the Johannesburg Prison, Tinties and back to PH Network.
The second walk will be a 10 kilometers walk, which will also start at PH Network but will pass through Viking Sasol garage, Naturena Primary, Malta Road, Jan Denecker, Johannesburg Prison and back to PH Network.
These two seperate walks will accommodate both beginners and experienced walkers, with a maximum of 500 people expected.
People can register online at www.funlocator.co.za and make a payment of R65 to participate in the walk.
Sponsors and donors are welcome, especially to fund the logistics of the event.
