JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – It is a good thing to have security in your home because crime is one of the biggest problems South Africa is facing and trying to eradicate.
On Tuesday morning June 24 at 07:45, a suspect jumped over a fence of a property in the South of Johannesburg and went to the back of the property and removed items from the outside room.On leaving the premises, the he triggered the outside beams, setting off the alarm and that was when Fox Security reaction vehicles and Tactical Unit responded to the alarm.
The homeowner gave a description of the suspect and that he was carrying an oval white gate and old yellow rake with him, which he stole from the property.
While Fox Security reaction vehicles were patrolling the area looking for the suspect, members of the public stopped a WAR Security Reaction vehicle to inform them that a suspicious man was hiding in the open veld.
WAR Security informed Fox Security and the suspect was found lying flat down on the ground in the veld with the white oval gate and yellow rake.
The suspect was arrested and detained for trespassing and theft – all because the homeowner had home security system.
