Metrobus to assist injured passenger

Johannesburg Metrobus sent Meggy from pillar to post.

JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – After sustaining an injury in a moving Johannesburg Metrobus, Meggy Sookoo reported the matter but did not get the help she was hoping for; even after waiting for six weeks.

On Wednesday June 18, Esther Dreyer from Johannesburg Metrobus communicated with Meggy to inform her that everything was finally in place and she would be given forms to fill and submit to Road Accident Fund.

Meggy fell on Monday May 5 in a moving bus at the South Hills and was disappointed with the rudeness of the driver afterwards.

Although she is now going to be assisted as Johannesburg Metrobus has promised, initially she was very angry as she could not get help and she was sent from pillar to post.

The driver of the bus was taken to a disciplinary hearing and Meggy was happy to have been phoned by Esther Dreyer as she was tired of phoning and going to Johannesburg Metrobus offices.
